| 2 1/2 Cups Sugar |
| 2 Egg Whites |
| 1 Teaspoon Vanilla |
| 1/2 Cup Corn Syrup |
| 1/2 Cup Water |
| Nuts (optional) |
Divinity Directions
- Cook sugar, syrup, and water to good firm ball.
- Let stand while you beat egg whites stiff.
- Pour melted sugar, syrup, and water over egg whites very slowly beating all the time.
- Continue beating until stiff enough to stand up in soft puffs.
- Add chopped nuts (optional)
- Drop individual drops on plate
Notes
My dad (Grandpa Ririe or Grandma Ririe's dad???) cooked it a little longer so he could butter his hands and roll it into logs to be cut in pieces.
