| 1/2 Cup Salted Butter, Softened |
| 1 Cup Granulated Sugar |
| 1 Cup Canned Pumpkin Purée |
| 2 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour |
| 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda |
| 2 Heaping Tablespoons Cinnamon |
| 1 Teaspoon Nutmeg |
| 2 Cups Chocolate Chips |
Frosting
| 4 Ounces Salted butter, softened |
| 8 Ounces Cream Cheese |
| 1 Teaspoon Vanilla |
| 3 Cups Powdered Sugar |
| 3 Tablespoons Milk |
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Set aside.
- Cream together the butter and sugar
- Add the eggs
- Blend until combined
- Mix in the pumpkin
- Slowly shake in the flour and cinnamon mixture while mixing on low
- Stir in all the chocolate chips
- Use a medium cookie scoop to scoop cookie dough onto a greased cookie sheet or parchment paper-lined cookie sheet
- Bake for 13-15 minutes
- Frosting:
- Cream the butter and cream cheese
- Add remaining ingredients until well mixed
- Mix on high for 1 minute
Notes
For the frosting, you may need to use 3-4 cups of powdered sugar and 3-5 tablespoons of milk.
